South Korea seeks deeper coop with Gazprom in Eastern Gas Program.

MOSCOW, September 4 (Itar-Tass) - South Korea's big industrial concern STX Business Group expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Russia' s gas giant Gazprom in the Eastern Gas Program.

On Friday, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller held a working meeting with STX
Business Group Chairman Kang Duk-soo.
"Miller informed Kang Duk-soo about the implementation of the Eastern
Gas Program," he said. "South Korea in turn expressed interest in deeper
participation in the projects implemented in Russia's East," Gazprom's
information department said.
At the meeting Miller and Kang Duk-soo discussed opportunities for
companies' interaction in the implementation of Gazprom's large-scale
projects on Russia's Arctic and Far Eastern offshore deposits.
They also focused on STX Business Group's cooperation with Russia's
shipbuilding companies.
