Ministry of Health reports two new deaths of H1N1

Abu Dhabi, Sept 9, 2009 (WAM) - The Ministry of Health announced yesterday the two new death cases of the UAE national elderly man, 75 and 8 month old UAE national toddler, caused by H1N1, bringing the death toll to six in the UAE. The toddler had suffered from the heart diseases and received the treatment in U.S., while the elderly man had suffered from the chronic diseases and dyspnea. The number of death cases compared to the cases of H1N1, is less than 0.5 per cent, a reassuring percentage that effective preventive and curative measures taken by the MoH and health authorities are sound.
