Putin sends message of greetings to Tajik PM.
MOSCOW, September 9 (ITAR-TASS) --Russian Prime Minister Vladimir
Putin has sent a message of greetings to Tajikistani Prime Minister Akil
Akilov on the occasion of the Tajik national holiday - Independence Day,
the press service of the Russian government said Wednesday.
In a telegram addressed to his Tajikistani counter part Putin
expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of mutually advantageous
cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan based on deep traditions of
friendship between the Tajik and Russian peoples. "The recent
commissioning of the Sangtudinskaya HPP-1 was our common success. This is
a really tremendous bilateral project, which is of great importance for
developing the Tajik economy and ensuring power supply to the Tajik
population," the telegram ran.
"I hope that in the future both sides will persistently and precisely
observe all the reached agreements contributing to strengthening alliance
between Russia and Tajikistan," Putin said in the telegram.
