Chinese experts welcome Russian wish to develop 'Eastern vector'.

MOSCOW, September 11 (Itar-Tass) -- Chinese political experts welcome
the Russian wish to develop 'the Eastern vector', while preserving
relations with the West, head of the East China Pedagogical University's
Russian Study Center Feng Shaolei said after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin'
s meeting with members of the Valdai international debate club.
"It was very interesting to hear Mr. Putin's idea about the
development of 'the Eastern vector' in the Russian foreign policy. We like
this strategic thinking very much," he said. "In that case, Russia will
play a very important role between the East and the West."
Putin showed that the Russian foreign policy would concentrate on both
vectors, Feng said.
Labor migration was another issue of interest for China. "The Russian
premier noted that a lot depended on the quality of labor force and
workers' education," he said.
