NATO chief to visit Moscow this year

UNITED NATIONS, September 25 (Itar-Tass) -- NATO Secretary General
Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Thursday he plans to visit Moscow this year.
He told reporters after a meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister
Sergei Lavrov that no concrete date had been agreed, but the visit would
take place by the end of the year.
Rasmussen described his meeting with Lavrov as "very constructive" and
said he was satisfied with its contents and tone.
The NATO chief said he and Lavrov focused on practical cooperation and
laid the basis for a new beginning in relations. He expressed hope for
continued political dialogue at the highest level in Moscow.
