Russia ready to support Armenia-Turkey normalisation process -- FM.

ZURICH, Switzerland, October 10 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian is ready to
support the process of normalisation of relations between Armenia and
Turkey "through further implementation of cooperation projects" with the
two countries, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Russian
reporters on Saturday, commenting on the protocol on development of
bilateral relations and the protocol on establishment of diplomatic
relations between Armenia and Turkey, which were signed at Zurich
University.

First of all these are projects in the electric power and transport
and communication areas, Lavrov noted.

envisaged in the protocols signed on Saturday on normalisation of
Armenian-Turkish relations can be interpreted as harming to a third party,
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Russian reporters, commenting
on the signed protocol on development of bilateral relations and the
protocol on establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and
Turkey.
Speaking about the content of the documents, the Russian minister
noted that it reflected "the firm decisiveness of both countries to follow
one's part of the way".
The documents were signed by Armenian and Turkish Foreign Ministers
Edvard Nalbandian and Ahmet Davutoglu.

.If Yanukovich wins his party may initiate parl disbandment.

DONETSK, October 10 (Itar-Tass) -- The Party of Regions may initiate
disbandment of the parliament in case its leader Viktor Yanukovich wins
the presidential elections, the chairman of the party's Donetsk regional
organisation, Boris Kolesnikov, said after the 20th party conference in
Donetsk on Saturday. The conference nominated Yanukovich as a presidential
candidate.
It will happen in case no compromise is found in the parliament, the
Supreme Rada member said.
The Party of Regions will look for compromises and form a majority to
implement reform programmes, without which it is just impossible to go
further, as the situation is deadlocking. But if no compromise is found,
it will be needed to initiate parliament disbandment, Kolesnikov noted.

.Police detain 75 fans during Russia-Germany match in Moscow.

MOSCOW, October 10 (Itar-Tass) -- Policemen detained 75 fans during
the match between the Russian and German teams at Luzhniki stadium on
Saturday, Moscow police information department head Viktor Biryukov told
Itar-Tass.
Most of the people were detained for alcohol drinking at stands and
presence in a drunken state at the stadium. It is banned by the law. The
offenders were taken to police offices and will have to pay fines, the
spokesman said.
On the whole, there were no serious incidents at the stadium, where
75,000 spectators, including 2,500 fans of the German team, watched the
match. No incidents and clashes between fans were reported, Biryukov noted.
After the game, all the spectators organisedly left the stadium under
the police's control.
German fans were carried in buses to 12 Moscow hotels where they
reside, and Russian fans who had arrived from regions also left for home
after the match. Traffic police groups accompanied all the buses for
security reasons, the spokesman added.
About 4,000 policemen and interior ministry troops ensured order
during the match at Luzhniki.
