Russia PM to pay working visit to China on October 13-14.

MOSCOW, October 10 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia and China will sign several
dozens of agreements at the governmental and business level during a
working visit of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to Beijing
scheduled for October 13-14, deputy head of the apparatus of the Russian
government Yuri Ushakov told journalists.
The Russian prime minister, who is to have Russian-Chinese
intergovernmental talks and participate in the Council of SCO Heads of
Government in Beijing, will be accompanied by many ministers, heads of
federal departments, as well as a big delegation (about 100 people)
represented by leaders of the biggest Russian companies. Thus the Russian
delegation will include Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Zhukov and Igor
Sechin, Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, Minister of Culture Alexander
Avdeyev, head of the Customs Service Andrei Belyaninov, head of
Rosrybolovsktvo Andrei Krainy, head of Roskosmos Anatoly Perminov, Deputy
Minister of Defence Alexander Kolmakov, as well as several deputy
ministers.
Intergovernmental documents on corresponding sectors of industry will
be prepared for singing. In particular, it is planned conclude an
agreement on the creation of cultural centres. Besides, the ministries of
defence, transport, regional development and others prepare joint
documents.
Head of Vnesheconombank Andrei Dmitriyev will sign several agreements
in the field of business, including a credit agreement with the
Export-Import Bank of China on the construction of a cement plant in the
Penza Region. Vnesheconombank will also sign a credit agreement with the
State Development Bank of China which is ready to provide a credit to the
sum of 500 million dollars. Both banks will also sign a memorandum in the
field of joint financing of projects on the territory of the Sverdlovsk
Region. According to ITAR-TASS, the question is of a major investment
project worth one billion euros.
For his part, head of VTB Andrei Kostin is expected to conclude a
credit agreement with the leadership of the Agricultural Bank of China.
Apart from bankers, other Russian businessmen, who will arrive in Beijing
these days, are also ready to intensify cooperation with the Chinese.
Among them - - Gazprom head Alexei Miler, RZD head Vladimir Yakunin,
chairman of the group of companies RENOVA Viktor Vekselberg, head of the
company Bazovy Element Oleg Deripaska, chairman of the Board of Directors
of AFK Sistema Vladimir Yevtushenkov, president of the group Volga-Dnepr
Alexei Isaikin and others.
