Gazprom, CNPC hold first round of talks on gas exports.

MOSCOW, November 2 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom has
held the first round of talks with China National Petroleum Corporation on
Russian gas supplies to China, Gazprom's press service said on Monday.
They discussed in detail the issues of pricing, volumes, routes and
terms of supplies. Moreover, the parties reached an agreement on the
creation of working expert groups to discuss joint participation in
projects to launch gas chemical complexes in the Far East.
Gazprom and CNPC will continue to discuss the key issues of Russian
gas exports to China and possible joint projects at the next round of
talks that will take place before the end of 2009.
