BEIRUT, November 3 (Itar-Tass) - A final make-up of Lebanon's new
government, headed by Saad al-Hariri -- leader of the Al Mustaqbal
(Future) movement, is expected to be announced on Tuesday, according to
sources in the ruling coalition. "This may happen within hours," the
sources said.
According to the sources, the Sunni politician held an urgent meeting
with factions that are part of the parliamentary majority on Monday. The
meeting was devoted to the results of his consulations with opposition
forces.
It took Saad al-Hariri, son of the late Lebanese Premier Rafik
al-Hariri, four months to fix the make-up of a future Cabinet. On
September 9, Hariri,Jr. had already resigned his powers, refusing to make
concessions to the opposition. However, he was re-appointed the Prime
Minister, getting support from 83 out of 128 members of parliament.
