RF for stronger cooperation with UN Economic Commission for Europe.

MOSCOW, November 21 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia wants stronger cooperation
with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the Russian
Foreign Ministry said after Friday's meeting between Deputy Foreign
Minister Alexander Yakovenko and UNECE Executive Secretary Yan Kubis.
"The conversation was held in a business-like and constructive
fashion. There was a detailed exchange of opinion on a wide range of
issues of cooperation between Russia and the ECE," the Foreign Ministry
said. "In part, the importance was noted of stronger cooperation between
Russia and the UNECE in energy effectiveness, environmental protection,
road safety and the promotion of partnership between the state and private
businesses."
