UAE'S LEADING THINK-TANK ORGANIZER SYMPOSIUM ON PALESTINE
ABU DHABI, June 5 (WAM) - UAE's leading think tank Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) is organizing a sypmosium on "60 Years on the Plight of Palestine" June 17, 2008.
The gathering is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Abu Dhabi under the auspices of H.H General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and President of ECSSR.
The symposium will shed light on a number of issues related to the Palestinian cause, with an emphasis on a performance appraisal of Palestinians, Arab and international parties in their efforts on theseissues over the past six decades.
The symposium will also discuss the policy of fait accompli adopted by the Israeli occupation, the ongoing internal power struggle between Fatah and Hamas, and the future of the Palestinian cause in light of the multiple challenges it faces.
