Spanish Parliament Speaker to visit UAE

Dec 20, 2009 (WAM) - A delegation led by Speaker of the Spanish Parliament (Cortes Generales) will visit the UAE in January next year upon an invitation last year by Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC) Abdul Aziz Al-Ghurair. Arrangements of the forthcoming visit were discussed on Friday by Secretary General of FNC Mohammed Salim Al-Mazrouie and Spanish Ambassador to UAE Gonzalo de Benito Secades. The meeting also discussed the positive outcome of the visit in terms of further promoting trade, investment and tourism relations between the two countries.
