SINOLOGIST RECEIVES PRIZE NAMED AFTER CHINESE AMBASSADOR
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Deputy Director of the Confucius Institute (CI) at Mongolia's State University (MSU) M.Chimedtseye has been granted a prize named after the Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia. Created in 2007, this prize is awarded every two years to a sinologist who gained a brilliant success in Chinese language training and studies in Mongolia.
M.Chimedtseye, one of the outstanding Chinese language translators, wrote serial books about Chinese classic literature and translated classic works of Confucius into Mongolian.
He received the prize for founding the CI in Mongolia.
