Molik, Dokic set for Hobart tennis inter

Alicia Molik is the star attraction for Monday's first-round matches at the Hobart
tennis international with fellow Australians Jelena Dokic, Olivia Rogowska and
Sophie Ferguson also in action.

Molik headlines the tournament's first night session, playing India's out-of-form
Sania Mirza.
The 28-year-old Aussie is returning to top-level tennis after retiring in 2007 due
to persistent injury problems.
Dokic, who has declined all media requests for interviews since arriving in Hobart
on Friday, has drawn British qualifier Elena Baltacha.
World No.147 Ferguson, coached by Tony Roche, plays Belgian Kristen Flipkens, ranked
81 in the world.
And world No.145 Rogowska, the fourth and final Aussie at the tournament, faces
possibly the toughest task, against second seed Shahar Pe'er of Israel, ranked 30 in
the world.
Baltacha won through qualifying, beating 2007 tournament champion Anna Chakvetadze.
The Russian was one of three former Hobart champions knocked out in the qualifying
rounds on Sunday, including defending champ Petra Kvitova and 2006 winner Michaella
Krajicek.
Sunday's singles winners were top seed Anabel Medina-Garrigues from Spain, Canada's
Aleksandra Wozniak, Ukrainian sisters Alona and Kateryna Bondarenko, China's Shua
Peng, and Frenchwoman Alize Cornet.
