“The secret history of the Mongols”- Mongolian epic chronicle of the 13th century was published as a pocketbook and presented to all the servicemen of the Mongolian armed forces. This act of good deed is initiated by Mr Bat-erdene, Defence minister within the programme “Defence sector and patriotism” adopted by the decree of the President of Mongolia and by the order of Defence minister.
This masterpiece of world historiography tells about the life of Chingis Khaan, and the creation of an empire that stretched across Eurasia in the 13th century.
At the book handing over ceremony, Mr Bat-Erdene said that all the personnel of Mongolian army must carefully study and always bear in mind the idea of this sacred book which is considered as a guide for future development of Mongolia and an altar for every mongolian family.
The ceremony was attended by well known writer and poet Mr Badarch and military historian Mr Bazarsuren. Mr Badarch has reminded that all of mongolians must preserve and protect the invaluable heritage of Mongolian literature-“The secret history of the Mongols”. Doctor of historical scieinces Mr Bazarsuren had spoken to the soldiers about the secret of Chingis Khaan's conquest of the world.
