500 Volunteers Benefit from QRCS Volunteer Leadership Training and Integration Program

Doha, September 26 (QNA) - Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) said that 500 male and female volunteers will benefit from its volunteer leadership training and integration program, running until November 23, as part of QRCS's plan to train 900 volunteers for the year 2023-2024.
QRCS said that its Volunteering and Local Development Division seeks to train volunteers and ensure their smooth transition throughout the various stages concluded by the leadership stage, to then have remarkable contributions to major events and programs hosted by the State of Qatar.
Volunteering and Local Development Sector Division at QRCS Hussain Aman Al Ali said that volunteers must undergo training and benefit from the program's outcomes.
Al Ali said that the training attracts both new and veteran volunteers registered with QRCS, with the aim of knowledge and expertise transfer and sharing.
In turn, head of the volunteers section at QRCS Moza Al Kuwari noted that this training program is a milestone in empowering volunteers and improving their skills, which then enhances their community service.
QRCS volunteers reached 27,165 volunteers in 2022, participating in various events and activities in the State of Qatar. (QNA)
