Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- True to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to narrow to the maximum the difference in educational level between schools in urban and rural areas, Ryanggang Province of the DPRK directs efforts to improving the qualifications of teachers at rural schools.

Under the province's working plan, a hundred and tens of academic advisors of town and county teachers' retraining institutes got down to working at branch schools in mountainous areas.

Prior to the dispatch, the province made sure that multimedia and reference teaching materials were prepared to help improve the ability of teachers at the branch schools in mountainous areas. It also organized a forum on teaching experience and a demonstration class and held a technical workshop.

Those academic advisors, dispatched to branch schools in remote mountainous areas, have striven to disseminate excellent teaching methods and materials while helping teachers with the preparation for teaching and improvement of qualifications.
