Building of Oxygen Heat Blast Furnace Pushed Ahead
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the construction of an energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace at the final stage.
The complex has stepped up the assembly of equipment, structure-manufacturing and trial operation of sub-branch systems as scheduled.
Assembly of equipment was completed at circulating water pump station, water tower, air compressor station and ventilator station and trial operations of sub-branch systems are being conducted.
Meanwhile, the construction of welfare service buildings and the concrete tamping of road floors are progressing apace.
The construction site of the energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace is changing day by day thanks to the devoted efforts of officials and workers of the complex. -0-
