100 Biodiesel Buses To Support APEC Meeting

Nusa Dua, Bali province, Oct 4 (Antara) - Indonesia, as the host of the APEC Leaders Meeting this year, has arranged 100 biodiesel buses to support the flow of delegates and journalists at the meeting venue in Nusa Dua area, Bali province. "The use of biodiesel buses reflects Indonesia`s commitment to establishing a green economy," said Industry Minister MS Hidayat on Friday, during the launch of the buses. Meanwhile, Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan said Indonesia will continuously promote the use of green products at the APEC forum. "Apart from saving the environment, the usage of green products such as biodiesel, from Indonesia`s palm oil plantations, can lead to the creation of more jobs," he added.
