ADNOC, JICB sign MOU

ABU DHABI, 10tth November 2015 (WAM) - Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at strengthening the company's comprehensive strategic partnership with Japan. The MOU was signed by Matar Sultan Al Ameri, ADNOC Finance Director, and Masayuki Tanimoto, Director General, Oil and Gas Finance Department, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Group. Present during the signing were Abdullah Nasser Al Suwaidi, ADNOC Director General, and Yosuke Takagi, Japanese State Minister, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The MOU calls for developing and expanding cooperation in oil and gas to with the objective to mutually recognise that the grant of new concessions to Japanese entities and the renewal of existing concessions involving Japanese entities are significant objectives of the JBIC mandate. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395287793055.html
