Afghanistan To Host Iran’s Exclusive Exhibition

Mashhad, May 6, IRNA – The Sixth Iranian Exclusive Exhibition focusing on energy, construction and foodstuff will be held in Kabul from June 13-15. Director of Mashhad International Exhibition’s Foreign Fairs Department Ali Khaksar added that the exhibition to be attended by Iranian companies will include various sections on economy and basic goods needed by the Afghan people. Common customs and traditions, high quality of Iranian goods, location of Iran as the most secure and cost-effective transit route for imports and exports and getting acquaintance with the Iranian market are among the reasons why Afghan merchants are interested in doing business with their Iranian counterparts, he noted. Afghans are more in need of foodstuff, poultry, medical equipment, development of universities, processing industries and various types of carpets, handicrafts, tourism and construction of roads, Khaksar said. He also said that presence of Iranian firms not only will help meet the needs of the Afghans but also will also improve the country’s national production./end
