Afghanistan to open trade hub in Iran’s Chabahar port

TEHRAN,Dec.26(MNA)--Afghanistan will establish a trade hub in Iran’s southeastern Chabahar Port aiming to transit goods via Iran, the Afghan commercial attaché to Iran said. Abdulhadi Farhang told that the center will be around 50 hectares in area. The value of trade between Iran and Afghanistan stood at around $2 billion in the first 11 months of 2011, of which $1.5 billion was Iran’s exports to the neighboring country, Iran’s industry, mine and trade minister, Mehdi Ghazanfari, said.
