Airasia Enhances Fly-Thru Service Between China & Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- Low budget airline, AirAsia, is offering more connectivity and convenience between China and Indonesia via its enhanced Fly-Thru service. Introduced last year, the Fly-Thru is AirAsia's innovative solution to flight connections, offering guests more convenience, the airline said in a statement Monday. The direct service from Indonesian cities as Jakarta, Bandung, Medan and Surabaya to cities in China such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau and Hong Kong via AirAsia's Kuala Lumpur hub, has been extended following the popular demand for its Fly-Thru service, it said. Guests are also able to enjoy the service from Chennai (India) to Singapore with the Fly-Thru connection via Kuala Lumpur as well, it added. The airline is offering all-in-fares inclusive of the Fly-Thru service from as low as RM379, for bookings from April 9-29 for the travel period of June 1- August 10, 2012. Meanwhile, apart from the promotional Fly-Thru fares, the airline is also offering all-in-fares from as low as RM59 one-way, to destinations in Indonesia such as Bali, Jakarta, Medan, Semarang and Surabaya. Also on offer are various domestic and international flights, with all-in-fares from as low as US$15.93 (RM49) one-way, to places such as Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Singapore, Da Nang, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Kolkata, Chennai and Kochi. These ultra low fares are available from April 9-15 for the travel period of June 1-August 10, 2012. -- BERNAMA
