AirAsia Japan Offers Direct Domestic Flights To Sapporo, Fukuoka and Okinawa

KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 (Bernama) -- AirAsia Japan, the newest low-cost carrier based in Narita International Airport, is set to launch operations on domestic routes with daily flights to Fukuoka, Okinawa and Sapporo starting Aug 1, 2012. In a statement on Wednesday, the affiliate carrier of AirAsia said it would hold its first promotion with the offer of 10,000 seats from as low as 20 sen (US$0.063). AirAsia X, the long-haul low-fare affiliate of AirAsia, would be offering promotional fares from as low as RM399 (US$126.06) one-way from Kuala Lumpur to Haneda International Airport (Tokyo). Guests may opt to fly onto the AirAsia Japan new domestic network via Narita International Airport. The promotion will be from tomorrow until June 3, for the travel period from Aug 28-Nov 28, 2012.
