Azerbaijan, UAE discuss issues of cooperation in the field of justice

Baku, February 28, AZERTAC Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the United Arab Emirates Dashgin Shikarov met with Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, Minister of Justice. The meeting hailed the rapid development of relationship based by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and UAE First President Sheikh Zahid Al Nahyan in many areas. The expansion of contacts between the two peoples in recent years and the ever increasing number of UAE citizens traveling to Azerbaijan give a new dynamics to the cooperation. The sides discussed cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice, and the legal contract basis for this area. Dashgin Shikarov informed the UAE minister about political and economic processes in Azerbaijan, large-scale projects implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, presidential elections to be held on April 11, 2018 and judicial system protecting the rights of Azerbaijani citizens. In turn, Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi expressed satisfaction with the existing relations between the two countries and stressed his country’s interest in further development of these relations, as well as in developing cooperation in the field of justice.
