Bahrain-Sri Lanka business ties discussed

Colombo, Mar. 14 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC) delegation headed by vice-treasurer Mohamed Sajid held a meeting with the Sri Lankan Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Vathiudeen. The meeting, on the sidelines of the committee participation in the Business and Investment Conclave 2016 held in Colombo- Sri Lanka, looked into ways to encourage investment, trade, and partnership between local business owners and their Asian counterparts and highlighted the business opportunities and economic features in both Bahrain and Sri Lanka. The committee also met both the Sri Lankan Minister of Tourism and the head of the Urban Development Authority wherein business collaboration was highlighted and a briefing was given about the committee’s forthcoming conference "Bahrain: A Gateway to the Arabian Gulf".
