BCCI election committee holds third meeting

Manama, Jan. 17 (BNA): Chairperson of the election committee for the 29th session of the board of directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Jassim Hassan Abdul A’Al, has announced that according to Article 51 of BCCI’s 2013 executive bylaw, BCCI members whose names do not appear in the voters’ list, or whose data are incorrect can appeal to the committee by applying for insertion or data amendment. He added that the voters’ list will be made available on the Chamber’s official website and the committee will announce receiving applications in the second week of February.  This came as BCCI’s elections committee held its third meeting headed by Abdul A’Al, in the presence of all committee members.  “Those who seek to have their names inserted or their data amended will be notified of the committee’s decision by phone, Fax or E-mail one day following the date of their application,” Mr. Abdul A’Al said.  “The voters’ lists will be available on the Chamber’s official website, as well as the applications for insertion or amendment,” he added.
