BCCI participates in Bahrain-India Forum

Manama, June 29 BNA): The Promotion, Exhibitions, and Conferences sector committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headed by board member, Ahlam Janahi, has participated in Bahrain-India Forum in New Delhi. The participation came in translation to the committee’s strategy stressing on intensifying the Bahraini presence in regional and international business events and promoting its investment climate and business environment. On the sidelines of the forum, Janahi discussed business cooperation and investment opportunities with the Director and top executives of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICC), and deliberated about joining efforts to hold the Indian Week Exhibition in Bahrain. She also met Indian dignitaries and exchanged mementos with the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Nirmala Sitharaman, and the Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs. Janahi reaffirmed the keenness of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce to contribute to expediting the progress of the national economy of Bahrain and enhancing its momentum.
