Businessmen welcome moratorium for inspections

Karaganda, 20 February 2009, (Khabar) - The businessmen of Karaganda consider the decision of the government to prolong the inspection of small and medium-sized businesses to be timely measure. There are over 50 000 subjects of small and medium-sized businesses in the region where more than 130 000 people work. Several years ago Galina Blankina worked in sports school in Saran town and now she manages small factory.

Galina Blankina, director of factory:
- When there was no moratorium, inspections wore out us, sanitary epidemiological station, firemen, taxation committee diverted us from our job and we couldn’t pay enough attention to our labour process and spent much time for inspecting officials. This moratorium is a great support of entrepreneurs.

Currently there are two sewing, knitted and cutting workshops in the factory. Mainly women work here and most of them maintain their families by themselves. Tatyana Sidorenko has been working as a knitter for about 40 years and she is sure their enterprise will continue functioning even during the period of crisis. This factory produces mainly uniform and working clothes. But if it is necessary they can sew any clothes because qualification and equipment of enterprise allow doing it.
Innovational technologies are actively used here and smart machines allow doing complicated patterns and embroider lace compositions and national ornaments. Galina Blankina says the main today is support of state demonstrated with its various orders for sewing. She plans to launch two more sewing workshops and open 70 more workplaces.
