Dubai Airports appoints two new Emirati senior executives

Dubai (WAM): Two U.A.E. nationals have joined Dubai Airports’ executive team, to help strengthen its leadership and manage the increasingly expanding operations across its two airports.
Majed al Joker and Adil Al Fahim, have been appointed as SVP Operations DWC and Senior Vice President, Finance and Procurement, respectively.
In a press release yesterday, the company said that Al Joker, who previously worked for VP Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports, will play a key role in defining the customer experience at Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central, DWC.
"Planning is currently underway on the second phase of DWC which will not only become the world’s biggest airport but will redefine the passenger experience by putting the customer at the core of its design," said a Dubai Airports' spokesperson.
Al Joker’s experience and understanding of passenger expectations will be vital in delivering an experience that makes travel simple and convenient, he will also manage a fast-growing operation at DWC.
In his new role, Al Fahim will oversee and manage all of Dubai Airports’ finance and procurement functions, and will lead a programme that will further integrate the finance, procurement and business processes across the organisation, providing the support structure required to efficiently manage the expanding business.
