Dubai's high potential in innovations will achieve tremendous success for Expo Dubai 2020, says UAE Consul-General in Italy

MILANO, 1st November, 2015 (WAM) -- The Consul-General of the UAE in Milano, Noura Mohammed Juma, has praised the efforts exerted by the National Media Council (NMC), as well as its good organisation of the country's pavilion in Expo Milano 2015. She also pointed out that the pavilion witnessed an outstanding turnout of visitors from various nationalities and cultures. She said all Arab and foreign officials who had visited the pavilion expressed their admiration of the exterior design which reflected the UAE's heritage and its sophisticated cultural boom. In her remarks to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, she said the UAE will impress the world during Expo 2020 Dubai, expressing her confidence in the high level of renowned and innovative capabilities that Dubai has and its potential in organising international exhibitions and conferences, which would bring great success. She also added that this was not just her point of view as an Emirates official or citizen, but is the opinion of people of all other nationalities who visited the country's pavilion, and reiterated Dubai's ability to organise the international event. She added that there is complete coordination between the UAE Consulate General in Milano and the organisers of the event represented in Salem Saeed Al Ameri, Commissioner-General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo Milano and Abdullah Al Aidarous, Deputy Commissioner-General of the UAE pavilion, saying, "We work with them as one team." Regarding the UAE-Italian relations, the UAE Consul General said, ''Relations between the two countries are very good and there are a lot of fields in which they would enhance them," noting that the Italian side gives much attention to the UAE. Commenting on the UAE-Italian Economic Committee, Juma indicated that the committee held a meeting, which was co-chaired by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, from the UAE side and the Italian Minister of Economic Development, Federica Guidi.
