Energy Minister patronises forum

Manama, Apr.8 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza patronised the opening of the Oil and Gas Forum organized by the Bahrain-British Business Association. British Ambassador Simon Martin was present during the ceremony along with members of the association and businessmen. Dr. Mirza welcomed the delegates and the association chairman Khalid Rashid Al Zayani and spoke about the close relations between Bahrain and the UK, particularly in the field of energy. He also applauded the efforts of the association to promote trade between the two countries and said he would do all he can to further these relations. Two experts from the Brazilian company, Petrobras, specialists in the field of enhanced recovery to levels of production from old oil wells (EOR), were also present.
