Energy minister: Turkey continues to demand price reduction in Iranian natural gas

ANKARA (A.A) - January 16, 2012 - Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said that Turkey continued to demand reduction in the price of natural gas it bought from Iran. However, Iran has not responded positively to our demand, Yildiz told reporters on Sunday. Appealing to arbitration seems inevitable for now, he added. Yildiz said that if Iran demanded to hold a meeting about the issue until the arbitration process, Turkey would agree to sit on table with Iran.
