GH Bank to survey homeless in Thailand

BANGKOK, April 17 (TNA) – Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) collaborated with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to conduct a survey on homeless people across Thailand. GH Bank president Chatchai Sirilai said the survey will provide factual information about homeless people in terms of the exact number, locations, careers, and income levels. The information will help the bank develop loan products in line with customer needs. The survey is expected to be completed in the second quarter, he said. The bank previously found that there were some 4.6 million homeless people across the country. Further details about the homeless, however, remained unclear. (TNA)
