Government to develop Doing Business Portal
BANGKOK, Oct 10 (TNA) -- The cabinet on Tuesday endorsed the 4-billion-baht development budget of a Doing Business Portal to improve services.
Kobsak Pootrakul, Vice Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, said the cabinet agreed to allocate 4 billion baht as requested by the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Research and Development Fund to develop the online, one-stop service system to facilitate business, called Doing Business Portal.
The Electronic Government Agency will supervise the development.
The system will let operators conveniently contact government organisations for business facilitation services and check the results of their requests for government services around the clock.
The project covers the development of a central platform to receive requests for government services, a central system for online identity verification, a central platform to facilitate international trade, and the integration of government services by 50 different organizations.
The platform for requests for government services will be completed next year and the rest areas of the development was set for completion within 2020. (TNA)
