Govt Sells Sharia Bond Valued At Rp631 Bln

Jakarta, Oct 3 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government has sold Rp631 billion worth of sharia bonds to help bridge the deficit in the 2012 state budget. A release issued on Wednesday by the Debt Management Directorate General of the Finance Ministry said auction on Tuesday of five series of the sovereign sharia bond was oversubscribed more than twice with demand reaching Rp1.4 trillion. The bonds offered yields ranging from 4.69 percent to 6.84 percent with maturities from 1 to 25 years, the release said.
