"GPIC in the Local Press" publication released

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): The 11th edition of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC)'s annual publication, GPIC in the Local Press, has been released. The book, published by the Company’s Corporate Communications Department, highlights GPIC’s activities and events and documents all news and achievements throughout the year. In a statement on the occasion, Company President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery applauded all the journalists and their integrity as well as their eagerness to highlight GPIC’s achievements in a neutral and impartial way. He said this had contributed greatly to highlighting the national companies’ achievements as well as contribution to Bahrain’s economy. Dr. Jawahery appreciated the positive role the Press coverage had played on the Company and its employees and the positive public opinion it had generated. This, he said, had resulted in more incentives to workers who, in turn, had been working diligently and faithfully towards further success of the Company. Dr. Jawahery said the positive Press coverage had highlighted the efficiency of the Company’s operations as well as the role of the Bahraini workforce in the operation of major industrial companies. Dr. Jawahery spoke about the efforts of GPIC’s Board of Directors in drawing up successful strategies to keep the Company on the right and successful track and develop plans to overcome all challenges in the face of fierce global competition. He said this had contributed to achievements at the level of operational and production processes and profits as in the Company’s outstanding community activities. He stressed that the Company had strong links and communication channels with the local Press and personal contacts with journalists, writers and editors of local newspapers. Dr. Jawahery said GPIC would always keep pace with the latest in the field of the petrochemical industry worldwide and always remain competitive, with each employee making a contribution towards its success. He said GPIC in the Local Press publication is an important reference work and useful for economists, researchers and those interested in the petrochemical industry in the region. He thanked all those who were part of the Company's achievements and invested their efforts and time in its success. He called upon journalists to continue their noble mission and follow up on the activities of the Company.
