Guinness Picks Accenture To Transform Sales System

KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Bernama) -- Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, has signed a contract with Guinness Anchor Bhd (GAB) to license and implement its Accenture CAS software platform. In a statement on Thursday, Accenture said the move was designed to help the leading Malaysian beer and stout company achieve excellence across its sales operations. Accenture will implement the Accenture CAS software platform to help GAB deliver an improved distributor management system and gain enhanced insights into the performance of its in-store promotions. With the new software platform, GAB will be able to forecast demand more accurately, track and measure the success of its marketing activities, and drive increased sales. "Once the solution is implemented, our infrastructure will truly be world-class, and consistent with our vision to become an icon in business," said Charles Ireland, managing director of GAB said in the statement. -- BERNAMA
