Industry Minister meets UNCTAD Secretary-General

Geneva, Nov. 25 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani received United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Secretary-General Rebecca Greenspan. The meeting reviewed the most important policies adopted by the government of Bahrain to limit the pandemic's impacts on the economy. The minister praised the role of UNCTAD in working to integrate developing countries into the global economy, and its role in solving many issues related to many countries’ economies during the pandemic period. Al Zayani affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to contribute in achieving the common goal of sustainable development for all countries.
