Iran’s Exports Hit Record High

Tehran, Feb 26, IRNA - Head of Iran’s Customs Administration Abbas Memarnejad said on Saturday that the volume of Iran’s exports to foreign countries over the past eleven months hit a record of dlrs 93.8 billion.
During the said period, the value of import and export of non-oil products increased by dlrs 4.8 billion compared with the corresponding period last year, he said.
Export of non-oil products including gas condensates registered a growth of 28.5 percent to each dlrs 39.5 billion which is regarded as a new record to this effect, he said.
The country’s imports registered a 6.44 percent decline in comparison to the corresponding period last year, hitting dlrs54.8 billion, he said.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, North Korea, Germany and Turkey were the major countries from which Iran imported commodities in the said period, he said.
China, Iraq, UAE, India and Afghanistan were the top importers of Iranian-made goods in the 11-month period, he pointed out./end
