Iran Hosting 1st ECO Ministerial Meeting On ICT

Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA – The Iranian capital is hosting the 1st Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Ministerial Meeting on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Sunday. The Senior Officials Meeting (expert meeting) that was kicked off this morning will last for two days. The first ECO Ministerial Meeting on the ICT is to discuss ways to prepare the ground for the exchange of technology and technical know-how among the member countries. It will also review avenues to widen cultural interactions among the members. The main objective of the ECO meeting is to provide opportunities for fostering regional trade exchanges and paving the way for entering the international trade markets./end
