Jordan Parliament Speaker Calls For More Iranian Investments In Jordan

Damascus, Feb 21, IRNA - Jordanian Parliament Speaker Abdolkarim al-Daghmi on Monday called for further Iranian investments in Jordan. He made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Jordan Mostafa Moslehzadeh in Amman. “Amman warmly welcomes Iranian investors to invest in Jordan,' al-Daghmi said. He reiterated that Iranian investments in some Persian Gulf countries had greatly helped the economies of those states. The Jordanian Parliament Speaker underlined the necessity of expanding mutual relations and said the two countries' parliamentary friendship group can review issues pertaining to bilateral relations. The Iranian ambassador, for his part, underlined the need to strengthen the two countries’ mutual relations and described situation in the region as complicated./end
