Malaysian-Born Professionals In Australia Urged To Return Home

MELBOURNE, May 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysian-born professionals were last night encouraged to return home under the TalentCorp programme. At a meeting hosted by the Malaysian Consulate here, Consul General Dr Mohd Rameez Yahaya said Malaysia needed the services of talented people to help spur the country to a high income status by 2020. "You will find opportunities in Malaysia to further your careers while at the same time help our country develop," he added. Rameez said TalentCorp was an excellent vehicle to return to Malaysia and it offered commendable incentives which would make the journey back worthwhile. In a lively Q & A, the attendees showed their keenness in the TalentCorp programme and the desire to return to Malaysia if there were job opportunities. Architects and accountants were particularly drawn to the idea of moving to Malaysia. --BERNAMA
