MAS To Give Away iPhones, Extend MHmobile Deals

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will give away seven iPhone 4S smartphones to MHmobile customers and extend its exclusive MHmobile Mobile Deals to July 15 this year. The national carrier announced that MHmobile users will enjoy special rates from RM150 all-in return fares from Kuala Lumpur to selected domestic destinations and RM340 all-in return fares to selected Asean destinations. Passengers who have booked their flight through MHmobile and paid through their PayPal account from July 9 to 15 are eligible to win one of seven iPhone 4S smartphones in celebration of Malaysia Airlines' newest partnership with PayPal, offering MHmobile users an easier payment channel to choose from when they book their flights, it said in a statement here today. "We encourage customers to try out our new PayPal payment option on MHmobile, it allows for faster and secure transactions on mobile. "With the greater convenience offered, what better way to reward our customers' confidence in MHmobile than to offer them the best deals by far across all channels this year," MAS Marketing and Promotions Senior Vice-President Al-Ishsal Ishak said. He said not only would this promotion allow MAS passengers to plan their holidays for the coming Hari Raya, but also give customers the option to go on a spontaneous Asean getaway at the destinations on offer. Al-Ishsal also said with this new payment mode, as well as other improvements which they continue to deliver toward enhancing online customer experience, MAS' total revenue share via digital channels may likely reach 20 to 30 per cent this year.
