Meeting on boosting Bahraini-French relations held

Manama, Apr 25 (BNA): The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain has staged a work meeting to discuss Bahraini-French economic relations, promote business relations and exchanging expertise. Economic Development Board (EDB) CEO Khalifa Al-Rumaihi attended as a guest of honour. In his speech, Al-Rumaihi focused on the EDB role in attracting investments into the country to promote economic development through the improvement of five sectors, comprising financial services, information and communications technology, tourism, industry, and logistics and transportation services. He pointed that there are 71 French companies based in Bahrain operating in various sectors, including the aluminum industry, financial services, hotel and hospitality services.
