Msia's NAZA Group Eyeing Three More Franchise

PETALING JAYA (Selangor,Malaysia), May 22 (Bernama) -- The Naza Group of Companies is looking to add two automobile and one motorcycle franchise to its wide range of transportation franchise in the Malaysian market. Naza Group Joint Group Executive Chairman SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin said the three franchise are from Europe and China but declined to provide details. "One franchise is in a very preliminary stage of discussion but the other two are firm. We will make an announcement at the right time," he added. He was speaking after the presentation of a RM3.5 million (US$1.12 million) sponsorship by Naza Group of Companies for the Fiqh Mentaati Pemimpin International Seminar from June 15-17 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). Meanwhile, the Naza Group is looking to launch, five more Chevrolet models this year. SM Faisal said the company is also in talks to expand its business in Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. -- BERNAMA
