NL Scientific To Search For Distributor In Qatar Via MSE2012

DOHA (Qatar), May 4 (Bernama) -- NL Scientific Instruments Sdn Bhd, a civil engineering testing equipment manufacturer, is using the Malaysia Services Exhibition 2012 (MSE 2012) here as a platform to search for a product distributor in Qatar. Managing Director B P Chua said the company is planning to expand its presence in the Middle East through the distributor. "We are looking for a distributor who is in the same line as us, so that the company can undertake the servicing, repair and calibration for all machines," he told reporters on the sidelines of the MSE 2012. He said NL Scientific Instruments had established its presence in Saudi Arabia and venturing into the Qatar market would further strengthen its visibility in the Middle East. Chua said the rapid growth of the construction sector in Qatar represented a huge opportunity for the company which offers medium range products that are of equal quality as those from Europe but with a cheaper price tag. "We have 1,500 products that are built, designed and assembled in our factory in Kapar, Klang," he added. NL Scientific Instruments at present exports its products to 24 countries and is also involved in the low cost carrier terminal Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 2 project. -- BERNAMA
