OJK Licenses New Life Insurance Company

Jakarta, Sept 18 (Antara) - The Financial Service Authority (OJK) has issued a license for a new life insurance company PT Asuransi Jiwa Indosurya Sukses effective as from 11 September 2013. OJK`s director for communications and international relations Gonthor Ryantori Aziz said the license was issued on a decisio9n of the OJK commissioners No KEP-95/D.05/2013. The new company will sharpen competition among life insurance companies in the country. The prospects , however, is still encouraging as Indonesia provides a huge market for life insurance. The ratio of insured people to the country`s population is relatively low compared to other countries. The head office of the new company is located at Indosurya Plaza at Jalan MH Thamrin Kav 8-9 Jakarta 10230.
