Omani Deputy Premier receives BCCI chairman

Muscat, Feb. 19(BNA): Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation Affairs and Cooperation Asa'ad bin Tariq bin Taimur al Said received Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Sameer Abdulla Nass, along with heads of delegations which are taking part in the 129th session of the Arab Chambers’ Union Council, being held in Oman. They discussed means of developing trade and investment relations binding the Arab countries, strengthen economic ties and developing the performance of the private sector. The BCCI chairman hailed the facilities provided by the Sultanate of Oman for Arab investors, stressing the importance of the 129th session of the Arab Chambers’ Union Council. He commended the crucial role of the Arab Chambers Union in support pan-Arab economic development, towards achieving Arab peoples’ development and welfare and boosting growth. He lauded the Sultanate of Oman for hosting the pan-Arab meetings which aim to achieve common goals and bolster the standing and role of the GCC and Arab private sector. He expressed delight at meeting HE Shehab bin Tariq bin Taimur, Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan of Oman, during the reception which marked the 45th anniversary of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation also included BCCI First Deputy Chairman Khalid Mohammed Najeebi, Chief Executive Officer Shaker Ibrahim Al-Shater who represented the Bahrain’s private sector in the pan-Arab meetings.
