Over 13m int'l tourists visit Thailand so far this year

BANGKOK, May 18 (TNA) - Thailand has drawn in more than 13 million international visitors so far this year. Tourism and Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul told journalists on May 17 that the number of international visitors to Thailand since early this year has exceeded 13.12 million totally, a 2.33 per cent year-on-year increase. According to the minister,Thailand has, thus, earned about 674.02 billion baht of tourism-related revenues so far this year, an increase of about 4.10 per cent from the corresponding period last year.
